Smith to leave Alpine ISD

Alpine ISD Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Andy Smith shared Tuesday that he has been named Athletic Director and HFC in another Texas school district, to be announced later this week. Coach Smith has led the Fightin’ Bucks Athletics Program for the past two years.

Sul Ross runs with Greyhounds

Senior Cheyanne Bonilla had a double-double as the Sul Ross State University women’s basketball team (1-9 Lone Star Conference, 2-11) lost 98-78 to Eastern New Mexico (7-3 LSC, 12-4) on Thursday evening at Steve Loy Family Foundation Arena.
