Body On Feb. 21, James Stancel De Voll, passed from this life into eternal rest. This was his greatest desire and he spent 60 years teaching others the gospel of Jesus Christ so that they, too, might share in that same faith and hope.

Body Leslie Cletus Brown III passed away on Feb. 19, in Houston. Cletus III was born in Houston on August 4, 1952, to Leslie Cletus Brown Jr. and Betty Showers Brown. He attended Katy High School and Schreiner Institute Military Academy Preparatory School, graduating in 1970.

Body Marlow, at the age of 42, received his promotion to heaven on Feb. 15. He was born and raised in Midland. He graduated from Midland Christian School in 1999. He received a BA in Marketing from University of Texas of the Permian Basin.

Body Arthur Edmond Price passed away at the age of 36 on Dec. 15, 2022, in Gulfport, Mississippi.

Body Frances Hargus Springfield 104, of Sweetwater, TX. formerly of Marathon passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8, at Hoyt Place in Sweetwater. A graveside service will be held 2 P.M. Wednesday, Feb.15, at Marathon Cemetery in Marathon.

Body Born Elizabeth Clare Magers on March 23, 1976 at Odessa Regional Medical Center to her parents Hugh Magers and Joan Magers. Called Clare from the beginning by her family, her older sister of 11 years, Laura, often called her Clare Bear or Baby Clare.

Body Senaida R. Wright, 72, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away Dec. 31, 2022, in Odessa. She lived in Alpine all her life. Her hobbies were walking, gardening, talking to people and most of all being of help to people. Most of all talking to people and helping.

Body Vernon “Mac” McIntyre Morrow, of Alpine, passed away peacefully and painlessly on Jan. 16. Mac was born on March 23, 1949, in Alpine, and spent most of his life living and working in Brewster County.

Body Billy Gene Roberts, 82, better known to everyone as Ike Roberts from Marathon, entered eternal rest on Jan. 29. Ike was born November 26, 1940, in Alpine to Travis and Polly Roberts. He was raised in Marathon and grew up working on the family ranch and the Catto-Gage Ranch.

Body Elena Rios Fierro, age 80, of Alpine, passed away on Jan. 27, in El Paso. Elena was born on June 12,1942 to Ines and Lucia Rios in Paso San Antonio, Manuel Benavides, Chihuahua. She married Felipe S. Fierro, Sr. and was the mother of Daniel N. Rios, Jr.
