Mary Rodriguez Ramon, 81 of Alpine, Texas, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family, on Aug. 19, 2022, in Odessa, Texas.

Angelita Valenzuela, 101, of Alpine, Texas, passed away on Aug. 6, 2022, at her home.

Kathy Rogers, loving wife of the late John W. “Bill” Rogers, died July 23, 2022, in El Paso, Texas. Born Oct. 1, 1924, to Lawrence and Carrie Rinehart, Kathy was the beloved mother of Billy Wayne Rogers and the late Donna Kay Blake; grandmother of Jennifer Swinford, Joseph Blake, and Patricia McKenzie; and great grandmother of seven.

On May 27, 2022, with her beloved children by her side, Gloria Luna Chavira, 76, of Marfa, Texas, closed her eyes to her earthly home, and opened them to a glorious homecoming. The community, friends, and family of Gloria are invited to share a meal, fellowship, and gather in remembrance of her life on Saturday, Aug.

Sally passed away July 30, 2022, surrounded by her family as she went to her be with her Lord and Savior. She was born in Marfa, Texas, on April 6, 1954, to Les and Helen Bell.

Colin Wade Powers, 55, passed away July 3, 2022, at his home in Alpine, Texas. He was the son of Mike and Frieda Powers of Alpine.

Herbert Lawrence Surber, 84, of Marfa, Texas, passed away at his residence on July 30, 2022. Graveside services will be held Thursday, Aug.

Donnie was born in Houston, Texas, July 19, 1941 to Nola Katherine Cargill Boyd and Charles Harmon Boyd. In 1955 the family moved to Willis, Texas, his mother’s hometown. Donnie graduated from Willis High School in 1959. He attended University of Houston pursuing a degree in commercial art.

Robert William Simpson, 68, passed away in his home on July 8, 2022. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on Nov.

Dennis Earl Bryant left his earthly home on July 10, 2022, to be reunited in heaven with his beloved daughter April. He leaves behind a devoted family - his wife Trish; his daughter and son-in-law Cristy and David Schuler; his dear grandsons Jack and Jett Philpott; his brother Pete and wife Rose and their children Gary, Petey, Jennifer, and Mandy; his brother-in-law Bain Ward and wife Jackie; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
