Fort Davis High School Tennis is off to a tremendous start this season, and the energy around the program is building with every match. The team opened the year at the JV tournament in Big Lake and returned home with an impressive title, Team Champions.

Alpine track takes top spots

The Alpine Track and Field Team traveled to Fort Stockton on Saturday to compete in the 82nd Annual Comanche Relays, with the girls’ varsity and JV capturing the division championship with 120 points and the boys’ JV earning a 2nd-place team finish with 115 points. The girls outperformed Midland Christian, Presidio, Fort Stockton, Kermit, Water Valley, and Pecos, earning first-place finishes in the 400m, 3200m, long jump, triple jump, and with heavy scoring in the 1600m and relay events.

Alpine track shows strong season start

The Alpine varsity and junior varsity track teams traveled down Highway 90 to participate in the Queen City Relays in Del Rio last Friday. Both teams demonstrated depth, securing placements in the top eight across all divisions, with several athletes earning multiple event placements.

Alpine powerlifters bring it home

Body
The Alpine Powerlifting team traveled to Kermit last week and had another impressive showing, with multiple competitors bringing home hardware. With a short season, powerlifters work hard to max out in the weight room to continue their strengthening and consistency.

Bucks tackle Fort Stockton

Body
The Alpine Fightin’ Bucks and Lady Bucks golf teams traveled to Fort Stockton last week to take on their area rivals, with the JV team playing on Wednesday and the varsity boys and girls competing on Friday and Saturday.
