In the three games prior to the Brownfield tournament last weekend, the Alpine Lady Bucks softball team had outscored Van Horn, Wink and Midland TLCA by a combined score of 53-2 and were looking forward to similar offensive output in Brownfield.

The Alpine Fightin’ Buck golf team has been busy on the road, traversing golf courses, and earning medals. The AHS golf team is made up of only six players, four boys and two girls.

The Alpine Fightin’ Buck varsity baseball team started their 2023 season behind the curve. With a loss to Pecos in their first game last Monday of 2-10, the Bucks entered the Comanche Classic to face off against the Regan County Owls last Thursday.

The Alpine Lady Bucks have had hot bats of late. Heading into Tuesday’s home match with Midland TLCA, the Lady Bucks had outscored Van Horn and Wink, 33-1, smashing 25 hits along the way, including homeruns by Kody Hawkins at Van Horn and Paula Vargas in Friday’s home-opener against Wink.

The Alpine Runnin’ Bucks took to the track this past weekend in Fort Stockton for the annual Comanche Relays. In attendance were fifteen plus schools that included Greenwood, Ozona and Kermit to name a few.
