Alpine Cowboys honor fallen teammate Jared Strait

The past several days have been unprecedented, uncharted territory for the Alpine Cowboys organization. Cowboys right-handed relief pitcher Jared Strait passed away Friday, June 9, due to injuries sustained in a car accident.
Alpine’s 7 on 7 hope to repeat trip to State

The Alpine 7 on 7 football is looking to make their ninth trip to the State Tournament since 2007. The program began in 2005 under Athletic Director and Head Football coach Kirk Martin.
Cowboys falter vs. Roswell, sweep Austin at home

The Alpine Cowboys began their 2023 season with a series loss on the road to the Roswell Invaders May 31-June 2. Alpine started Syracuse, New York, native Dom Spinoso on the mound for opening day. Spinoso tossed 3.2 innings, walking five and striking out eight batters.

Cowboys gear up for 2023 season, All-Star Game

In the simplest of terms: 2023 is a pivotal year for the Alpine Cowboys. The last two seasons have concluded with first round playoff exits featuring the opposing team celebrating on the Kokernot Field pitcher’s mound. The Cowboys, on the hunt for their first Pecos League championship since 2019, enter the 2023 campaign with something to prove.
