Since June 28th, the Cowboys have delivered a series of impressive performances, showcasing both their offensive and pitching prowess, although they have encountered a few setbacks along the way.

The Alpine Cowboys, a powerhouse of the Pecos League Mountain South Division Professional Baseball, solidified their position as a dominant force with a commanding 16-4 victory over the Pecos Bills in the “Cantaloupe Classic” game held at Panther Stadium on June 26. The Cowboys showcased their exceptional talent, overwhelming the Bills with a relentless offensive onslaught and unwavering pitching prowess.

The Alpine 7on7 football team took to the road last week to compete at the State 7on7 Championships in College Station. Despite weather delays, the team still brought home the wins.

This past week, Sul Ross women’s head basketball coach E.J. Smith held the summer basketball camp from Monday, June 24 through Thursday, June 27.
