The Alpine Fightin’ Bucks varsity football team will take on the Anthony Wildcats in the first district game of the season at Sul Ross’ Jackson Field. The game will take place on Friday, September 27 at 7 p.m.

After one season of being an assistant volleyball coach, Annika Canaba is now getting the opportunity of a lifetime to follow her dream of becoming a head coach. Canaba was elevated to the title of head volleyball coach as she follows in her father’s footsteps who held the position since 2017.

With a remarkable 37-4 record, the Alpine Cowboys have established themselves as a powerhouse in the Pecos League. Their recent games have been a testament to their superior skill, unwavering resilience, and outstanding teamwork, reinforcing their reputation as one of the league’s most formidable teams.
