Bucks middle school teams charge into season with shutouts against Fort Stockton and Van Horn

The Alpine Bucks middle school football teams continued their strong season performance, securing victories in both games at home on Thursday, September 5. The 7th-grade Bucks dominated the Fort Stockton Panthers with a 14-0 win, while the 8thgrade Bucks showcased their skills against the Van Horn Eagles, cruising to a 12-0 victory. Both teams demonstrated strong defensive play and explosive offense, setting a positive tone for the rest of the season.

Cason takes gold in Crane

Hatfield Cason and Molly Garrett had stellar performances in the 5K at the Crane Invitational over Labor Day weekend. Earlier in the season, Cason ran a 16:16 in Pecos, but the Pecos meet was a road race and was slightly under the 5K distance.
