Bucks football building champions for 2024

There’s a lot to be excited about for the 2024 season if you’re an Alpine High School Fightin’ Bucks football fan. Coming off a Bi-District Championship in 2023, Head Coach Andy Smith, who also serves as the Alpine Independent School District Athletic Director, seeks to continue building a program that produces talented student-athletes who are also respectful and hard-working.

Four Cowboys games rained out

The Alpine Cowboys Professional Independent Baseball Team faced a challenging week with Mother Nature interrupting their schedule. Four consecutive games were rained out, leaving the Cowboys and their fans frustrated. However, a glimmer of hope emerged as the team finally hit the field on Monday, July 22.
