The Alpine Bucks tennis team traveled to Monahans on Tuesday, February 11, for a trimeet with Monahans and Lamesa high schools. Both the varsity and JV teams had the opportunity to get in some volley and service experience.

The Alpine Fightin’ Bucks traveled to Kermit on Friday, February 7, for their final district matchup before heading into the UIL playoffs. Facing a tough Yellowjackets team on the road, the Bucks showcased their competitive spirit in a tightly contested game that came down to the final seconds, proving their resilience and ability to battle against tough opponents in high-pressure situations.

The Alpine High School tennis teams have officially served up their 2025 season with a whirlwind of matches, hitting the courts in Fabens and Monahans to sharpen their game against tough District 4A competition.

The Alpine High School Lady Bucks varsity basketball team traveled to Monahans Monday night for round one of the Bi-District Championship against the Stanton High School Lady Buffaloes. The Lady Bucks split their games against Stanton last season when they were in the same district, with Alpine and Stanton both winning at home.

The Alpine High School boys’ and girls’ golf teams began their spring season with a tournament in Monahans. While the boys’ JV team played on January 30, the varsity team played on February 1, with the girls’ team also playing on January 30.
