Blackwell School may get National Park designation

On July 28, Senators John Cornyn (R-Texas) and Alex Padilla (D-California) introduced legislation that would designate the Blackwell School National Historic Site in Marfa. Representatives Tony Gonzales (R-TX 23) and Filemón Vela (D-TX-34) will reintroduce companion legislation in the House.
