Cecilia Garrett Davis, 87, of Fort Davis, passed away at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa on Monday, March 16, at 4:45 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 20, at Fort Davis Church of Christ in Fort Davis. She worked at McDonald Observatory and at Prude Ranch and was County Treasurer for 35 years. She loved this town and everyone in it.

Her memorial service will be held at the Church of Christ in Marfa at 2 p.m. on Easter Sunday, April 5.

She is survived by her son, Cecil Davis; her daughter-in-law, Wendy Davis; her grandchildren, Josh and Mary Mapp; and three great-grandchildren.
