Whether shopping for a new home or selling existing property, buyers and sellers alike often turn to Mountain View Properties to meet their real estate needs.

The team recently transitioned to new ownership as associate broker Michelle Foster took over as the new owner/broker, and former owner Ginger Turner is now the associate broker. Turner will remain in the area another year before relocating with family to Central Texas.

Foster acquired the successful Big Bend real estate agency from Turner on July 1. Originally from El Paso, Foster has worked as a realtor since 2008. Before that, she graduated from Sul Ross State University, then worked in restaurant management in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

In 1996, Foster relocated to Alpine as her spouse was finishing up college at Sul Ross State University, and they decided to make Alpine their home.

Said Foster, “I love the Big Bend, and am looking forward to continuing what we’ve built in the past 13 years. I enjoy building relationships, making new friends from all over, and helping people with their real estate needs.”

Joining the experienced duo are real estate agents Jami Gray, Foster’s son Colton, and Barbara Hoffman, an associate broker based in Fort Davis.

Born and raised in Alpine, Colton recently graduated from Texas A&M University, and has had his realtor license for more than two years. He will pick up south Brewster County, Presidio, Marfa, and the outlying areas.

He has always had a strong passion for all aspects of real estate, and worked for Landmark Properties and Keller Williams in the oil field areas before returning home to help with Mountain View properties.

“I’m gratified that my son has returned to Alpine to join the business. He will be a great asset to both buyers and sellers in the Big Bend,” said Foster.

Turner, originally from the Hill Country, has lived in Alpine since 2005. She started Mountain View Properties in 2006, and got her broker’s license two years later.

“I started this business to make a difference in the community, and help people with the biggest investment of their lives,” said Turner. “We work by referrals, so 90% of our business is from past and current clients.”

Turner said the business will definitely be in good hands, and praised Foster’s impressive sales achievements.

“Michelle has been in the top 10% of realtors in the Odessa region for sales over the last eight years,” said Turner. “Michelle plans on expanding the business to reach new locations of West Texas, and offering real estate services to more clients.”

Besides the expertise Mountain View Properties will continue to offer, community service and a spirit of generosity drives the business.

Mountain View Properties is a place where an experienced team of knowledgeable real estate experts work together to achieve extraordinary results for both buyers and sellers. Turner said offering the most exposure on its listings is what makes Mountain View Properties stand out.
