Body
At first glance, Everett and Davis Edwards look just like average teenagers, with Everett a junior in high school and Davis an 8th-grader. Both brothers are involved in the community soccer league and Alpine ISD cross-country. Additionally, Davis participates in tennis in the spring, while Everett focuses on track.

In its regularly held meeting on Tuesday night, the Alpine City Council spent the majority of the meeting on multiple items involving the Alpine Volunteer Fire Department (AVFD). Presided over by Alpine Mayor Catherine Eaves, the council moved quickly through the two public hearings, consisting of a rezone application and a resolution on the Capital Improvement Plan, followed by a proclamation presented to Abel Hinojos for National Aviation Day and approval of the consent agenda (regular meeting minutes from the August 5 meeting, City Secretary Report, and the invoice for July for the Bojorquez Law Firm).
