Alpine pushed hard but came up just short at home Friday, falling to Sonora 30-27 in a heart-stopping non-district thriller. The Bucks staged a late rally behind big plays, including an 80-yard touchdown with under five minutes left, but a missed conversion and a late interception gave the victory to Sonora.
