Finals Rodeo (CNFR) in Casper, Wyo. This is the 27th Individual National Championship The Sul Ross State University Rodeo Team is proud to announce that Cameron Haumea has claimed the prestigious 2025 National Championship in Steer Wrestling at the College National for Sul Ross State University, but the first Steer wrestling title in school history.

Four Alpine High School seniors’ summer break was far from ordinary. Instead of spending June resting up for their final high school volleyball season, Karolina Castillo, Naida Morris, Peyton Kincade, and Nevaeh Carrasco packed their bags, boarded a plane, and took their game and leadership to Costa Rica.

The Alpine Cowboys lit up the scoreboard this past week with a barrage of hits, home runs, and dominant offensive performances across a string of games that saw them clash with the Tucson Saguaros, Santa Fe Fuego, and Roswell Invaders. The week began with an unusual twist.
