Our Father

Body
Our Lord Jesus Christ taught us to pray when He gave us the “Our Father.” (Matthew 6:9-13; Luke 11:2-4) It should be noted that the prayer begins with “Our Father” and not “My Father.” Our God is the Father of all us because we were all created in the “image and likeness” of God. (Genesis 1:27) Therefore we must see every human person as our brother and sister. We must then obey the will of God’s great commandment of love.

Pinching pennies the ramen way

Body
When most people hear the word ramen, their minds drift to those college or young adult years where most excess money was spent on cover charges and drink specials as opposed to gourmet foods. That is not to say that they wanted to eat the 10 for a dollar pre-packaged meals, but let’s face it, hanging out with friends and having a good time trumps healthy eating every day.

Heard on the STREET

Body
Emma Morales, Alpine: I come from a small town where our hospital is the biggest thing in the community. So, after you go trick or treating you take your candy to the hospital, and you go into the x-ray machine, and you send all your candy down the x-ray machine, and then it will tell you if there’s anything sketchy in your candy. Then at the end you get a little bit extra in your bucket.
