City secretary arrested on multiple felony charges

The Brewster County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) arrested Geoffrey “Geo” Raul Calderon in the early morning hours of May 30 on multiple charges. Calderon was charged with resisting arrest, search or transport; tampering/ fabricating evidence; possession of a controlled substance; and possession of a controlled substance in a correctional facility. Both possession charges and the tampering with evidence charges are third-degree felonies. His bond was set at $23,000.
