The Bucks cheerleaders put in countless hours of work while the sports teams they root for get most of the attention. They are showcased at all the games they attend and all the community events where they appear, but the cheerleaders also do a lot behind the scenes as well.

What are you especially looking forward to in your senior year? I am definitely looking forward toward my last year playing high school basketball. What activities are you involved in during your senior year? I am currently involved in varsity basketball, football, track, golf, and National Honor Society.

Alpine beats Sonora to advance to winner bracket

Saturday clicked for the Alpine Lady Bucks. In a season that has been a learning experience for the young volleyball team, determination paid off Saturday in San Angelo. The team traveled to Wall Thursday to take on the Wall Hawks. In a fierce battle in cotton country, the Lady Bucks were defeated but not deflated against the always competitive 3A powerhouse.

Sul Ross State University Rodeo added three to the 2021 National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association Scholar American list. Recognized from Sul Ross were Hadley Kibbe, Morgan Kessler, and Nichole Lake.
