Body It is with great sadness that the family of Suzano Martinez Carrillo announces his peaceful passing into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, Jan. 27. Suzano was born on May 24, 1944, in Alpine, to Sabas and Francisca Carrillo.

Body Thomas Leyva, 34, of Alpine, passed away from complications of chronic medical conditions on Jan. 22. Thomas was born to Arturo Leyva and Naomi Natividad in Alpine on Dec. 16, 1988.

Body Juana V. Armendariz, age 90, of Hacienda de Orientales, Manuel Benavides, Chihuahua passed away Tuesday, Jan. 10 in Alpine. Juana was born Feb. 8,1932 to Angel Vazquez and Manuela Bustamante in Hacienda de Orientales, Chihuahua Mexico.

Body Carmon Pershing Henderson Jr., 82, of Fort Stockton, passed away on Jan. 5 in his home surrounded by his wife and children.

Body We are sad to announce the passing of Maria De La Luz “Lucy” Granado of Fort Davis. She was born March 19, 1957 and passed away peacefully at the age of 65 on Jan. 6. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Anna Marie; son, Eric Lee; mother, Eva Lara

Body Palma Jean Clark Fessenden Beckett was born on March 20, 1936, in Ringgold, LA and died Jan. 5, in Maggie Valley, NC. She was the daughter of Al and Marguerite Cook Clark of Ringgold. Palma was really bright and talented and had a wicked sense of humor.

Body Kathleen Seale Withers passed from this realm Sunday morning, Nov. 13, after a long battle with cancer.

Body Raul Acosta Garcia was born on March 15, 1953, in Alpine, to parents Magdaleno and Maria Garcia. He passed away peacefully amongst family on Dec.15, in Kingwood.

Body Juanita Garcia Muniz, loving mom, and homemaker, passed away peacefully at the age of 82 at Val Verde Nursing Home in Del Rio on Dec. 27. She battled Alzheimer’s for many years. She was born on January 5, 1940, in Marathon to Florentino and Luciana Garcia.

Body Don G. Slocomb died peacefully on Dec. 22. Born on March 11, 1934 in Galena Park, he lived a full life.
