Grady Lee Stringer, Jr. passed away June 20 in Kerrville after a lengthy battle with cancer. Grady was born April 8, 1956, in Borger to Grady Lee Stringer, Sr. and Leatrice Graham. Grady grew up in Odessa and graduated from Odessa High School in 1974. He earned an Associate’s degree from Odessa College. He worked as a library technician. Grady lived in Odessa, Fort Davis, Alpine, and Kerrville. He had

a broad interest in topics such as geography, politics, and philosophy and was particularly interested in astronomy and the natural world and never ceased in his quest for knowledge. He is preceded in death by his father Grady Lee Stringer, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Leatrice Graham, brother, Martin Stringer and his wife Sherrie, and nephews, Jacob Stringer and his wife Céline, Benjamin Stringer and his wife Kaname and Matthew Stringer. Burial was on family property in Fort Davis.
