Paisano Girls’ Camp to be held in June

The Paisano Girls’ Mission Camp will be held this year, June 2-6, at the Davis Mountain Resort Baptist Church just west of Fort Davis. Due to the rising cost of food, this year’s camp will cost $125 per person, including counselors. The camp will have the same Bible study format, missions time, music, style show, tea party, and other favorite activities. Girls who finished second through sixth grade are invited to be campers, and girls who finished seventh through 12th grade are invited to be junior counselors. On the list of additional activities are movies, board games, talent spotlight, and more. Aragon rightly should, as his accomplishments in rodeo have earned him an induction into the Idaho Rodeo Hall of Fame (IRHF). With six criteria to be met for this honor, Aragon’s career in rodeo checks all the boxes.

Hunting: Father-son time turns into lifetime love

From Alaska to New Zealand and parts in between, Rene Ybarra has turned what began as time spent hunting with his late father into a business of love. Many people know Ybarra as the local Alpine boy who went to the Marines and has now settled into his elected position with the Brewster County Sheriff’s Office.
