Alpine competes against four schools in the district for golf; Odessa Compass, Kermit, Crane and Stanton. District tournaments took place these last two weeks in Monahans and Fort Stockton, with district play concluding in Fort Stockton on April 5.

TheAlpine Bucks varsity sluggers met up with the Presidio Blue Devils on the diamond last Tuesday. Both teams had fireball pitching, and Devon Rojo would get things started early in the first inning for the Bucks when he doubled on an 0-1 count to score a run.
