Seventy Alpine High School seniors received certificates on Tuesday morning in a ceremony notifying them of their direct admission to Sul Ross State University. Earlier in the year, many of these same students received direct admission to the University of Texas Permian Basin, in a multi-school collaboration between universities and Alpine ISD that helps simplify the admission process for high school seniors looking to further their education after high school graduation.
