Marathon ISD student speaks at Smithsonian

Marathon’s soon to be eighth grader Keller Barlow set about the task of competing in the Regional History Fair at Sul Ross with boundless enthusiasm, never realizing where it all would end. According to Marathon ISD superintendent Dr. Ivonne Durant, “Keller’s passion for his subject was obvious to the other contestants from Marathon,” as they gathered in their library to give one another feedback.

HEAD OVER MEALS If the last few days are any indication, then summer is in fact here in the last frontier. And I don’t know about you, but the last thing I want to do is heat up a kitchen in search of a tasty meal.
