The Alpine High School trumpet trio of Ryanna Pineda, Hannah Vidal, and Aileen Adame, will advance to state competition in the UIL Solo and Ensemble contest after competing recently at Odessa College.
Marlow, at the age of 42, received his promotion to heaven on Feb. 15. He was born and raised in Midland. He graduated from Midland Christian School in 1999. He received a BA in Marketing from University of Texas of the Permian Basin.
Sul Ross State University, SRSU, home of the Museum of the Big Bend located on the campus in Alpine, is excited to welcome everyone to the Emmett and Miriam McCoy Building, a stunning addition to the museum’s existing facilities, when it opens to the public on Saturday, March 11 at 10 a.m. There will be presentations and a book-signing throughout the day.
The Alpine High School Fightin’ Buck track and field team will officially begin their season this coming Saturday in Fort Stockton at the Comanche Relays. Back in January, the track team competed in their first ever indoor track event in Lubbock at Texas Tech, but their official season does not begin until this weekend.
