Roe vs. the Constitution

Body
The Constitution of the U.S. is designed to protect, not eliminate, life. Regardless of your politics or beliefs, it is difficult for any citizen to place the mandated death of a fetus in a moral framework. Even the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said she regretted having taken the issue too far.

Buck baseball season comes to an end

Body
The Alpine Buck baseball season ended May 7 with the Brownfield Cubs in the third contest of a three-game series, 10-9. The game was a gut-wrenching loss with the tying run on third, and the winning run on first base at the time of the final out. Alpine took the first game behind junior Teagan Emerson pitching, and Cody Morris came in for the save, 4-2 Bucks. It was a sweltering 100 degrees for the three-game series in Midland.
