Being raised to be a good Democrat, I admired MLK and JFK. My parents now roll over in their graves due to what their party has become. Democrats say parents of school kids, soldiers, and police are threats to the U.S. as they push corporate, judicial, military, and DOJ corruption. They endorse National Socialism, election fraud, immigration insanity, and divisive racial rhetoric.

Why are there so many animals in Alpine, and what can we do to help as a community to get our pet population under control? Did you know that Animal Services sees hundreds of animals each year? Last year alone we brought in 484 stray animals. That does not include the 96 surrenders and other types of intakes.

The Constitution of the U.S. is designed to protect, not eliminate, life. The blatantly political opinion written by Justice Alito to justify striking down Roe v. Wade, was not just about abortion. Under Roe, a right to privacy (including making private choices) for individual persons was assumed to be intended by the Bill of Rights. The Ninth Amendment recognizes individual rights that were not explicitly stated in the U.S. Constitution.

Our city voters have spoken in electing a new mayor. It was a tightly contested mayoral contest between Catherine Eaves and Amit Rangra, with Eaves the winner. An estimated 738 voters went to the polls.
