The 54th annual Frank X. Tolbert and Wick Fowler International Championship Chili Cook-off and Barbecue, commonly referred to as the Tolbert or “behind the store” cookoff, took place in Terlingua Nov. 3-6.

Historical Association kicks off inaugural ghost tour

Everyone loves a good ghost story, and now thanks to the Alpine Historical Association, stories will come to life with the launch of a live, interactive ghost tour. The tour promises to bring lots of captivating tales to Alpine’s unique historical heritage.
