AMS baseball underway

Body
The baseball season is underway for Alpine Middle School Bucks. Their season began on Monday, April 8 when the eighth graders traveled to Fort Stockton to take on the Panthers. The Bucks lost a close game, 3-5, but they put up an impressive performance for their first game of the season according to Coach Marco Gomez. “Alejandro Uranga and Ezra Lujan were our pitchers for the game against Fort Stockton. They had a phenomenal performance for it having been their first game of the season. Thanks to a 3-run RBI from Darius Portillo, it allowed us to get on the scoreboard and not leave with a shut-out,” said Gomez.
