John Wayne Kelly was born on June 16, 1951. John Wayne passed away on Jan. 15, 2022. He grew up in Houston, Texas, and attended Westbury High School.

He worked many years with his brother Scott in residential construction. Hemoved to Alpine, Texas, 20 years ago, then later followed his heart to Terlingua, Texas, where he settled down with Vicki. John Wayne was a member of “The Porch” at the Terlingua Store in Ghost Town. He enjoyed riding his Harley all over Texas, and now the Big Ride in the Sky.

John Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and youngest brother, Glenn.
