Freddie Ray Bradford, Sept. 17, 1938-Oct. 6, 2021, is returning to his hometown of Alpine, Texas, for burial at Alpine Cemetery.

He is accompanied on this trip by his daughters Sue Edwards and Ann Bradford, their spouses Dan and Scott, and grandchildren Jared and Lotus. He is also survived by his sister Sue Brandford Anthony, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Ray left Alpine to join the U.S. Air Force. While on leave he met Alice Towne whom he married in 1959. After the Air Force, Ray worked at McDonnell Douglas Air, and the taught electronics at Ranken Technical College for more than 25 years.

In his free time, Ray loved spending time with family, fishing, photography, and telling stories about growing up in Texas.

It was Ray’s wish to return to Alpine and rest with his parents Lyman and Beryl (Wilks), his brother John, and his son George Chandler.

We ask all who are interested to join us at the cemetery on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at 9 a.m.
