Ben Krauskopf, Jr., also known as “Junior” to man), age 57, of Del Rio, Texas, passed away on June 10, 2022, in San Angelo, Texas, after a courageous battle with ALS.

Ben was born in Fort Worth, Texas, to Bennie and Joan Krauskopf on Nov. 15, 1964. He grew up in Del Rio, and graduated from Del Rio High School.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Roxanne Marie Krauskopf.

Ben was an avid sportsman, and loved hunting, fishing, and camping. He also loved gardening, and grew his own vegetables and huge pumpkins. Ben was a simple man, and loved to barbecue and sit around a fire outside while catching up with friends and family.

Ben is survived by his brother Edward Krauskopf (Donna), and sisters Sue Flake and Joanie Bolner (Victor “Dan”).

Funeral Services will be directed by Alpine Memorial Funeral Home, with graveside services on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Holy Angels Cemetery in Alpine, Texas.
