Freddy C. Rubio passed away March 9, 2022, surrounded by his family in Fort Davis, Texas, at the age of 74 years. He was born on Feb. 23, 1948, to Crispin and Librada Rubio in Falfurrias, Texas.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Linda F. Rubio; children Amy Rubio, Freddy Rubio and wife Shelly, Andrew Rubio, and Priscilla Rubio; sister Josie Lopez; grandchildren Haley Muniz, Anthony Muniz, Sarah Muniz, Alea Rubio, and Reagan Rubio.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother; brother Robert Rubio; and sisters Janie Garcia and Sara Reyna.

Visitation was held on March 11, 2022, at Davis Mountain Funeral Hall. A Mass of Christian Burial took place on March 12, 2022, at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Davis. Burial followed at Saint Joseph Cemetery.
