Early voting for the May 3 general election is just around the corner. Early voting begins Tuesday, April 22, and continues through Monday, April 28. The hours for early voting are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekdays only. No polls are open on Saturday or Sunday during early voting, and ballots may be cast at the Alpine Civic Center.

With an impressive culinary background and a passion for innovative cuisine, Chef Suarez brings a wealth of experience and creativity to our restaurant. This exciting addition to the Hotel Saint George team marks the beginning of a new culinary journey for LaVenture. Chef Carlos Suarez is a native of Paraguay, where he began his culinary journey amidst his homeland’s vibrant flavors and rich culinary traditions. From a young age, he developed a deep appreciation for cooking, inspired by the love of food ingrained in his culture. At 19, he relocated to Sydney, Australia, and his passion for cooking flourished even further. Over the past decade, he has honed his skills, working alongside incredibly talented chefs worldwide, mastering various culinary techniques and styles. From crafting simple yet delicious dishes to creating intricate and sophisticated plates, each experience has enriched his culinary expertise. Chef Suarez joins LaVenture with over eleven years of experience in the culinary industry. Chef Suarez brings his vast experiences to the area, where he debuts a menu with new flavor-forward dishes. “My cooking for me centers on care and attention, akin to family.
