Our Avalanche reporter asked, “What school tradition are you most proud of?”
Jessica Hinojos, Alpine: Graduation. Being able to experience the last time the school song is played for you. Walking across the stage knowing you have accomplished things and are closer to your dreams. Then that final walk out where you form a circle with your class coming together one last time to throw your hats in the air with a sign of victory and completion.

Maria Ramirez, Alpine: School tradition that I am most proud of is 100 days of school. It is a big deal for pre-k students to count to 100.
Nancy Burton, Alpine: When we seniors thanked our parents. Our AHS class graduating in Kokernot Field. There are so many – the school song, and everyone takes part. We hold our song true to heart. I bleed purple and gold.
Randall Kinzie, Fort Davis: The “after” graduation party. They were all epic
