The Alpine Fightin’ Buck Band will begin this year’s practice on July 31 from 1-5 p.m. at Alpine High school. All students interested in band or in color guard should attend this practice.

Aug. 2-19 will begin the Monday through Thursday schedule for each band group, with color guard from 11 a.m.-noon; brass instruments 1-2 p.m.; woodwinds 2-3 p.m.; percussion 3-4 p.m.; and all band from 4-6 p.m.

Friday’s rehearsal schedule is all band from 1-3 p.m.

Students should bring a water jug of at least 64 ounces, closed toe shoes, and hats, along with sunglasses and sun block.

Each student will need their instrument and all supplies, including reeds, valve oil, grease, and so on; a flip folder for music; and a smart phone or tablet for marching drill software and communication.
