The Sul Ross Theatre Program hosts its final tour of the award-winning Alpine Ghost Tours: Graveside Tales on Friday, November 22, at 7:30 p.m. at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Alpine.
This year’s Artwalk event will be hosted at 20 different locations in and around downtown Alpine. In addition to 5th Street being blocked off to host art vendors and the Live Music stage, two locations across the tracks on Murphy Street will host art installations. The Alpine Visitor Center will also host events, provide restrooms, and feature all the winners from the Shooting Alpine Contest since its inception.
CNA students from Alpine High School traveled to Austin last Tuesday to visit the Texas Board of Nursing Eligibility and Disciplinary Committee meeting. The students witnessed five cases, one of which included an emergency suspension case for a nurse who posed a continuing and imminent threat to herself and the public.
Operation Christmas Child delivers Christmas gift boxes to children worldwide. The project began in the early 1990s and has continued to grow each year, with 11.3 million boxes collected for distribution in 2023. These boxes will be distributed to over 120 countries, territories, and islands and will be the first gift many children will ever receive.
