The Holy Spirit

Body
At Dallas Theological Seminary from 1972 until 1976, we had Chapel four times each week. So, if I attended Chapel every day it was held (and I loved our Chapel Services), I heard about 576 sermons in four years, not counting that my family and I also attended a local church for those four years.

Lady Horns fall to Buena Vista

Body
The Marfa Lady Horns’ basketball season came to a close Tuesday night in the Bi-District Round of the playoffs against Buena Vista High School. Marfa faced early adversity as Buena Vista’s full-court press disrupted the Lady Horns’ offense and forced several turnovers. The early pressure resulted in a quick 14–4 deficit. After a timeout by Coach Kevin Pippen, Marfa settled in and began breaking the press, but struggled to convert open scoring opportunities, heading into halftime trailing 38–8.
