The Alpine City Council held its regular meeting on Tuesday. All council members were present, and Alpine Mayor Catherine Eaves led the meeting.

One of Texas Parks and Wildlife’s (TPWD) most prized successes is in jeopardy. The Desert Bighorn restoration project, which aims to establish breeding populations of the native sheep back in Texas, has seen a significant decline in animal numbers since 2021.

WEEK Meet Dahlia! Dahlia was surrendered to the shelter by her owner in mid-April. She was scared and apprehensive about her new situation, but after a few days of the shelter staff working with her to calm her fears, she was more comfortable, and her sweet disposition came to the forefront.
