Miracles out of nowhere

Body
I was listening to a song the other day, and it said; “Miracles are hard to find.” It bothered me, and it took me a while to realize why. See, I have been focused for a while now on the beauty around us. We live in these beautiful mountains. Rain has been spotty, but the desert blooms even in its lack. And a big beauty is how the community has rallied around the fire downtown. So, when I heard that Miracles were in short supply I immediately said; “No! There are miracles everywhere. Miracles are abundant. “

Best-ever pistachio pudding cake a unique treat

Body
One of my favorite cakes growing up was a pistachio pudding cake. While it was not often that my mom made one for us, besides chocolate anything, it was my favorite. Mostly because it is unique among cakes. Not that cakes aren’t able to be made unique, but it just was not your standard everyday cake out of a box, despite the fact it uses a box cake mix.

PET OF THE WEEK

Body
WEEK Meet baby Zip. This adorable tuxedo kitten came into the shelter with his two siblings and was a little shy at first but has learned to snuggle and accept love. From what we hear, he is a young gymnast and can roll and tumble with the best of them!
