Body The Brewster County Commissioners Court held its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, June 25 at 9:30 a.m. in the commissioner’s courtroom.

Body Every year, across the state of Texas and the nation at large, high school boys at the end of their junior year are chosen by their local American Legion (AL) Post to travel to Austin and participate in a week-long event focused on the practice of our democratic government.

Body The Alpine City Council held its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, June 18 at 5:30 p.m. in the council chambers. All council members, except Ward III representative Darin Nance were present in the chambers. Nance joined the meeting via Zoom.

Body The Alpine 7on7 team has been hosting bake sales and burrito sales, and just this past Tuesday held a hamburger sale at the American Legion to earn money for their trip to College Station to play in this year’s 7on7 Division III championship.
