The Lady Buck basketball teams traveled to Van Horn Monday to take on the Lady Eagles. Both the JV and Varsity teams came home with a win. The JV came out strong and quick, using transition offense to quickly jump ahead in the first quarter.

The Sul Ross men’s basketball team held its own during an exhibition game against the Division I UTEP Miners on Tuesday night at the Don Haskins Center. The Lobos fell 99-59 before a crowd of 3,701 fans.

Riddled with injuries, the Alpine girls’ basketball squad traveled to Pecos County Monday to take on the Buena Vista Longhorns, and with just six players dressed, it would be the host Longhorns who would pull away for a 56-20 win.
