Chili cooks from all over competed this past weekend in Terlingua to see who would reign supreme as top chili cook. Prizes were awarded to 23 cooks out of 88 competitors, with the top spot going to Robert “Frosty” Winterbottom of Cedar Park, Texas.

Hillside Baptist Church in Alpine will be collecting shoebox gifts for children for Operation Christmas Child for the 2022 season. Operation Christmas Child was organized in 1993, under the umbrella of Samaritan’s Purse.
