Gil Prather passed away peacefully Feb. 3, 2022, surrounded by his four children and close friends Rooster and Butch.

Myrtle Ann was born June 22, 1938, in Billings, Mont, the daughter of Frank and Doris Corwin Greenough. Her father was the cow boss on the Antler Ranch, and she began school in Wyola, Mont.

On Feb. 7, 2022, George Austin Jones, 92, left this earth and his worn out body to be with Jesus and his new heavenly perfect eternal body. He was born Oct. 9, 1929 in Balmorhea, Texas, to Henry Austin and Margaret Winifred Davis Jones.

Lorenzo “Lencho” Martinez was born in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico, on Dec. 15, 1936.

Bruce Allen Travis, 59, passed away peacefully in his sleep Feb. 18, 2022, in Waxahachie, Texas, with his loyal companion Nala by his side.

Joanne Lara Ortega, 64, surrounded by family, gained her wings on Feb. 13, 2022. Joanne was born Feb. 7, 1958, to Brigido Lara, Jr., and Mary B. Lara. She was raised in Fort Davis, Texas, and attended all school years at Fort Davis schools.

Dale E. Cardwell died suddenly at home on Feb. 11, 2022. He is survived by his sisters Dorothy A. Berry (Steve Spencer) of Alpine, Texas, and Dinah K. Berry of Sugar Land, Texas; two nephews and their families; an aunt; several cousins; and many friends made in Alpine, Wimberley, Texas, and at his beloved high school, San Marcos Academy in San Marcos, Texas.

Usbaldo “Baldo” Ybarra, 84, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away on Feb. 13, 2022, in Fort Stockton, Texas.

Cathy Corkins Neie, 61, died unexpectedly Feb. 9, 2022, at Midland Memorial Hospital.
