It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Rosa Waters Garcia, who went to be with her Lord & Savior, Dec. 2.

Rosa was born July 16, 1953 in Alpine. She is survived by her husband Poncho Garcia, son Jason, daughterin- law Isela, two gradchildren Issa and Vincent, one sister Sylvia Probasco, two brothers, Mack, and Jack Waters, two aunts Refugia Ortega, Mary Ramirez, and seven nephews and two nieces.

She was preceded in death by her mother Jesusita Waters, father Mack O. Waters, Grandfather Francisco Ramirez, one aunt Elidora Billings and two uncles, Domingo and Cornellio Ramirez, and nephew Kenny Losoya. Rosa was the epitome of grace, pure kindness, and courage. She never lost faith; she fought the good fight until the angels called her home.
