Funeral service for Raymond R. Cobos, 60, of Lamesa, was held Friday, March 31, at 12 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home in Lamesa. A burial followed at Dawson County Cemetery. Viewing was Wednesday, March 29, and Thursday, March 30, at Branon Funeral Home Chapel.

Raymond passed away Monday, March 27, in Lubbock. He is survived by his daughter, Andrea Cobos; step granddaughter, Jae’lynn Torres; parents, Benito Cobos Jr., and Manuela Cobos; brothers, Felix Cobos, Benito Cobos III, Oscar Cobos, Felipe Cobos and David Cobos; and sisters, Graciela Davila, Virginia Caballero, Gloria Cobos and Lori Cobos. He is preceded in death by a brother, Clovis Cobos.
