Gloria A. Myers, 88, of Presidio, Texas, passed away on Aug. 20, 2022, in San Angelo, Texas.

Funeral services were held in Presidio, Texas. Rosary was on Aug. 27, 2022, followed by Mass at at St. Teresa Catholic Church with Father Mike Alcuino officiating. Burial followed at Desert Hills Cemetery.

Gloria was born in Presidio to Alberto and Luz Spencer Armendariz on May 17, 1934. She was a graduate from Presidio High School. She married Herbert Myers in Presidio. She worked in the family business, Presidio Lumber Yard, up until her time of death. She had been involved as a member and officer in the American Legion Auxiliary. She was also instrumental in the opening of the public library.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, husband Herbert, brothers Alberto, Jr., and Carlos Armendariz; sisters Eva Di Guilio, Julieta Rodriguez, and Luz Maria Selman; brothers-in-law Frances Di Guilio, Jose Rodriguez, and Thomas Pelton, Sr.; and sister-inlaw Martha Rohana Armendariz.

Gloria is survived by brothers Frank Armendariz and wife Quico and Luis Armendariz and wife Rebecca; sisters Olivia Hinojos and husband Ramon from Odessa, Texas, Rose Pelton from San Angelo, Laura Rohana and husband Pedro from Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico; sister-in-law Imelda Armendariz; and numerous nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Teresa Catholic Church in Presidio.
