Alicia R. Quesada
Alicia R. Quesada (Rodriquez) passed away peacefully on April 26 in Midland at her daughter’s residence at the age of 80. She was born on July 27, 1943, in Alpine. Alicia was a devoted member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Alpine. In lieu of flowers, in honor of her
memory, contributions can be made to Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, requesting masses on her behalf. Alicia was a loving mother who birthed eight children who blessed her with grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She is survived by her daughter Glenda Rojo and husband Danny, son Benito Muniz Jr. and wife Hayley, daughters Christina Delagado, Arlene Muniz, Delfa Minshew, and Ericka Quesada, and son Michael Quesada. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, Sammy Muniz Jr, Adam Ray and Gabriel Muniz, Noah Muniz, Issac Natera, Andrea Lostis, Amanda Maes, Jarred and Lucas Minshew, Zyan, Zevir and Zaylan Llanez, Damien, Julio and Alexis Quesada and great-grandchildren. In addition to her children, Alicia is survived by brothers Robert, George, and Frank, sisters Elidia, Enedina, Margaret, and Sylvia, a loving extended family, and many nieces and nephews. Alicia was preceded in death by her spouse, Julio Quesada, son Samuel Muniz Sr, granddaughter Kirbi Caye Clark, parents Francisco Rodriguez and Margarita Rodriquez, brother Alfredo Rodriguez, and sister Beatrice. Alicia’s life was one of love, family, and faith. May she rest in peace.
A Rosary and Memorial Mass is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 1 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Alpine. Interment will take place at a later date.
