L. Edith Heidebrecht passed away early Oct.

Dolly Jean Calhoun, 82, of Midland, Texas, died Oct. 13, 2021 in Midland.

Angelica Raquel Aguilar-Pearce of Alpine, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Oct. 13, 2021. She was 36, and was loved by her family and friends. Angelica was born on Dec. 11, 1984 in San Antonio, Texas, where she grew up surrounded by the love of her parents and siblings. She has a twin brother, Charlie Aguilar, and they shared a true twin bond. She grew up in a home filled with music, like oldies and Tejano, which sparked her love for dancing.

Robert “Renn” Burling, 53, of Van Alstyne,Texas, passed away Sept. 30, 2021.

Corliss Jean Hill George, 77, of Belton, Texas, passed away on Sept. 26, 2021, at Baylor, Scott and White in Temple, Texas.

Kay Evans Stovell of Alpine, Texas, passed into the arms of Jesus on Sept. 30, 2021. She was 81 years young, and surrounded by family in Abilene, Texas. Kay was born in Roswell, N.M., on Aug. 27, 1940.

James “Jim” Wallace Ponton, 64, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away while surrounded by loved ones in Dallas, Texas, on Sept. 26, 2021. A memorial service will be held in San Antonio, Texas, on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, at 11 a.m., at First Presbyterian Church, 404 North Alamo Street, San Antonio 78205.

Cody Austin Ward, 26, of DeFuniak Springs, Fla., passed away on Sept. 14, 2021. He was born on June 12, 1995, to Jeffery and Linda Ward in Alpine, Texas. After Cody graduated from Alpine High School in 2013, he went on to study Culinary Arts at Le Cordon Bleu in Austin, Texas.

Katherine Cosandey Snook, wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully Aug. 10 at her Alpine home, surrounded by family. Katherine was 92, and would have celebrated 72 years of marriage with Don on Aug. 14. Her life was commemorated at a ceremony on Aug. 20, 2021, at Don and Katherine’s house.
